If I were to ask for a show of hands for people who love to eat and the people who like to cook, the disproportion would be phenomenon. As our timelines have gotten busier and life not a tad bit simpler, we’re always looking for quick ideas to make something that’ll satisfy our palate and placate our hearts.
Here are three quick recipes for the millennial this winter –
1. Corn salad
Pepper, zucchini and onions. Chop them up and mix them with corn. You can add salsa for the tinge and voila! Make it in the morning and you can enjoy it for lunch.
Put some yogurt in a bowl, add bananas cut into pieces and some almonds with chocolate chips and you’re set for dessert.
To dish out a healthy plate of breakfast, all you’ve to do is cook oats and add nuts, raisins, grated apple and yoghurt (if needed for taste).
4. Egg salad
High in protein, this one’s a winner. Add halved boiled eggs on cut potatoes and celery salad. Top with radishes and mustard. Microwave it before you eat to feel the taste in your mouth.
These meals can be easily made and carried to work for lunch.
