These days everyone is in an attempt to include superfoods in their diet. What is that you ask? Well, they are nutrient dense foods with high healing potential. Taking these on a regular basis will help with lowering cholesterol; reduce the risk of heart disease, cancer, diabetes, blood pressure.
These food items also help in lifting your mood, slowing down the ageing process, eliminate depression and boost physical abilities. To add to the benefits, there are no side effects to them, unlike the tons of medicines that doctors prescribe for all the problems that I mentioned above.
The myth associated with superfoods is that they are fancy, expensive and imported such as Chia Seeds or Goji Berry, but the truth is that you do not need to go that route.
There are so many superfoods in our own kitchen that we eat on an everyday basis. I try and make it a point of including some or most of them throughout the day in my meals and would urge you all to do the same.
I love popping a quick healthy snack after my daily walk! Keeps me energized and fresh.
My AHR Catamarina Sling Bag is perfect for walks and to carry a quick snack.
